I feel Daniel Hannan is getting a lot of unfair press at the moment so here's something to balance it out, showing his keen mind and expertise in political analysis.

Most of us would be deeply embarrassed to keep writing the same article over and over again for a decade, having been proved wrong *every single time* this Brexit bullet opinionated was aired previously. Not the redoubtable Lord Hannan!

Of the many absurdities (& worse) of this Hannan piece perhaps the biggest is that, as things stand, there are no 'negotiations with the EU' as such, and so UK politicians are already 'supplicants' in seeking them.
