Yet another example of the on-going abysmal customer care from Everyman Cinema HQ. They changed direct debit providers at some point in the last year. Cancelled all the direct debit mandates instead of migrating them - NEVER TOLD ANY OF THE MEMBERS! What is wrong with you?

What the hell is going on at Everyman Cinema - debited my card yesterday for my membership renewal, sends me an email today telling me my membership has expired (still has my money), and membership help line has a recorded message in Italian! This is beyond a joke #epicfail
Feeling a bit numb. Just learned of the passing of Kevin Mitnick. I know he was a marmite figure in our industry, but I've always had a lot of time and respect for him. Still have his metal business card that's also a set of lock picks. It encouraged me to learn how to do it! 😢
Rather disappointed with Virgin Media ❤️ Been on hold for an hour waiting to speak to someone from cancellations (still on hold), as VM customer service were completely clueless (and completely unhelpful) when I initially called about re-contracting (I'm at end of contract).
The stupidity at Virgin Media ❤️ continues. After an hour on hold to speak to cancellations, I finally get through - I've been sent to the wrong department (house moves) - so back on hold again! Clearly amateur hour is an all-day thing at Virgin Media?
This evening I’m at the #ukitawards event in Battersea Park. I’ve had the privilege of being involved with these awards either as staff on Computing.co.uk or a judge since 1998. Tonight we celebrate the best in our industry and encourage the next generation to persue IT careers.

So very sad this morning to hear of the passing of John Stapleton - one of our finest journalists and an utterly nice chap. Had the privilege of being interviewed a few times by him on TV and radio, always so considerate as well as well-prepared.
