Another rail adventure. Arrived at Hoek van Holland at 08:00. Efficient public transport brought us to Haarlem by 10:00.

A train (of course) to Hoorn this morning, followed by a visit to the Kibbling stall opposite this windmill in Haarlem. Onwards to Leiden and Gouda tomorrow.

Leiden by bus this morning, the onwards this afternoon to Gouda.

A faultless rail journey from Leiden. An easy change of trains at Rotterdam Centraal to arrive early afternoon at Gouda. Cheese tomorrow 😁

There is an anti-det run of the Nimrod planned for this coming Sunday, 15th December. It means all four engines being run up and will take place between 11.30 and 11.50 in the morning. It's subject to serviceability on the day but should clear the cobwebs before Christmas.
