Today, a 7 year journey came to a close, & a new lifelong journey starts. I defended my dissertation UB Sociology & Criminology & been selected for a postdoc Sheps Center. I am excited to kick off my academic career & look forward to producing social science/health services research. #PhDone ✅

Spent my late morning/early afternoon finishing up editing & submitting one of my dissertation studies for publication. The panic of checking & rechecking everything a quintillion times over before hitting the final button is easily the most nerve wracking thing for me.
