How to save $5k and avoid a plumbing/septic crash course: There’s no such thing as a “flushable wipe”. Dishwasher and laundry pods are plastic and never dissolve entirely.

The GC sales cycle can be extraordinarily long. Our average time from first contact to breaking ground is ~6mo (relatively quick imo). This means: - First half of 2025 is largely baked. Growth (and contraction) happens slowly. - Necessity to qualify a lead within first

Moreover, this glacial sales cycle can cause unforeseen cash flow constraints when hiring to meet growth. Project start dates often get delayed 90+ days. Three months of payroll without corresponding revenue will cause drag. Solution: extend projected start date from onset.

New starts in February are tough. Footings filling with groundwater, site gets sloppy early, and dodging rain racing to get concrete in the ground. Team's stress levels are elevated--should be back to baseline come Monday afternoon. Proud of our guys getting things done.

Hustled to prep footings before inspection this morning. Pump driver forgot his 4WD at home this morning. I’m sure his boss will love a $2k tow bill and nothing billable. Tracking in cement on skids now with an hour before the plant closes. 6” of rain forthcoming in the next

Our tiniest new build might go down as our most fun ever. The coolest space purpose-built for a pretty incredible artist and great person:
