As of 10:15 AM, both northbound lanes of US-395 at the Mono County Line are closed due to a vehicle fire that spread to nearby brush. Fire crews and Caltrans are currently on scene working to contain the incident. We will provide updates as soon as lanes reopen.

TRAFFIC UPDATE – US-395 REOPENED As of 2:40 PM on July 10, 2025, both northbound lanes of US-395 near the Mono County Line have been fully reopened. We thank the public for their patience as fire crews and Caltrans worked swiftly to clear the roadway.

Officers recently responded to a multi-vehicle crash where one of the drivers was found to be under the influence of alcohol. At least one person was injured — thankfully, their injuries are not life-threatening. It could have ended much worse.
