A good friend and one of the nicest people I’ve met lost his life to Covid yesterday. He was just 42. He posted this on Facebook about his wife on Saturday night. 5 days later, he’s gone. Do you ever question what the hell this life is? How do you even begin to make sense of it?

Stuart Attwell was in a credible position & on correct ‘refereeing angle’ to award a penalty to Everton, for the foul on Gordon. He chose not too & got it wrong. However, for VAR to not even check the on-field decision (which was clearly wrong), is nothing short of a disgrace 🔵
