Intel SGX has fallen Global Wrapping Key extracted from Gemini Lake. Hardware TEE carries a dangerous single point of failure for confidential transfers. Fairblock uses MPC + threshold cryptography instead of hardware root keys.

pragmatic privacy is only valid when cryptography is slow or expensive. for stablecoin transfers (tempo's usecase) cryptography is already fast enough and you can have the exact same compliance. so it's really a poor choice, and a premature announcement before building it
