Last month, CFP supported client Charlie Ward & Boys & Girls Clubs of America at the President's Golf Series at Troubadour Golf & Field Club. The event raised funds to support BGCA’s mission of enabling all young people to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.

On #InternationalDayoftheGirl we’re remembering the All-Girls Basketball Clinics we coordinated for The Carroll Family Foundation. The clinics featured drills led by DeMarre Carroll and panel discussions with former WNBA players, including Kym Hampton, Ashley Battle and more!

Oct. 16 was #WorldFoodDay! In 2018, CFP visited TechBoston to kick off the UNICEF Kid Power initiative with client FOE Foundation. Students competed against Capital City Public Charter School in Washington, DC to raise donations of nutritional food packets for children worldwide.

Yesterday was #WorldKindnessDay so we’re highlighting our 2019 Most Valuable Philanthropist Derek L. Anderson , who incorporates Acts of Kindness into Stamina Foundation . In 2020 CFP co-founders Michelle & Alycia interviewed the NBA champ, who shared how anyone can make kindness a habit.

Yesterday we observed #NationalPhilanthropyDay. Service to others can take many different shapes and forms, but the idea is always the same. When we give and help others, we’re at our best. #CFP #ChampionsforPhilanthropy

It's #PlayBasketballDay & we’re highlighting the basketball camps & clinics we’ve helped athletes produce over the years. CFP is happy to help host events like these that provide healthy, safe & fun environments for youth across the globe to learn basketball skills & life skills.

We’re excited to share that client Charlie Ward will be featured in the ACC Network’s documentary “Twice as Nice - The Legend of Charlie Ward.” It was great working to coordinate the documentary, and we can’t wait to see the finished product, tonight at 7 pm ET on ACCN!

Today is #HumanRightsDay, and this year’s theme is Dignity, Freedom and Justice for All. CFP is proud to work with so many great athletes who work tirelessly to create a society where people from all areas of life are afforded the same rights and opportunities.

One of the beautiful things about giving is not only how much it can help someone else, but also how personally rewarding it can be. As you give, you get. Remember, it doesn’t take a monetary donation or day of volunteering to be of service. Small acts of kindness go a long way.

Today, we’re celebrating the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Dr. King’s work serves as an inspiration for much of what we do at CFP. His teachings - that we are all deserving of equality, love and justice, and that love will always conquer hate - are as important as ever.

Today marks the start of #BlackHistoryMonth. This month we acknowledge and celebrate the history of African Americans in the U.S. CFP is proud to be a Black-owned business and we hope to inspire others to improve their communities.
