Congrats to Kent State University ΧΩ — 75 years! The chapter was installed in 1947 as Chi Omega’s 100th collegiate chapter. The celebration this weekend included actives and alumnae from all decades. Special guest was Charter Member, Nancy King Kermode Kent State News Kent State Panhellenic Council @KentState_LIB

Today, we celebrate & commemorate the end of slavery in the U.S. 157 yrs ago. Although the Emancipation Proclamation was passed by Lincoln in January of 1863, it would take 2 more yrs & the end of the Civil War for it to be enforced and all enslaved persons freed. #Juneteenth2022
