So far, I've learnt how to construct basic dresses and gowns, last night I practiced making pants and I tasked myself to create it from memory 😌 I had watched several tutorials and I was like F it let's create something and voilà

1st ever complete 3D fashion illustration on Clo3D but before adding texture. You see adding texture simply means add the face/pattern or look of your fabric onto the draft. This software blows my mind every time ngl. #Clo3D

ARM HOLE DRAFTING❗ You go draft top for Clo3D, but di armhole no gree balance. Too tight? Wahala. Too loose? Fit go scatter. The trick? Let the armhole follow the shoulder slope well, bust-to-armhole ratio matters! Then run in 3D. Clean pattern = Clean Fit 🔥 no dull on am

Did some Asoebi designs a while back and one thing I realized is detailing and proper representation is KEY. Clean lines won’t save a bad fashion illustration. If the garment logic is wrong, or if it isn’t even represented, everyone can feel it.

I embarked on a recent project to create couture womenswear pieces using silk satin as the major fabric and here is one of the designs; one shoulder, structured power, pearl and bead embellishment that moves with the body. Front and back views. Commission ready (links in bio)

Continuation on the recent project I embarked on to create couture womenswear using silk satin, I went with a Roman/Greek aesthetic with this design, fluid with the draped silk and structure with the corsetry, that tension making up the whole design.

Silk satin halter wrap dress that feels like it was made for somewhere warm, unhurried, and expensive. The yellow tassel hem detail is doing more work than it looks like. It’s the whole mood. #fashionillustration
