China has made a breakthrough in magnetic levitation technology, as a 1.1-tonne test vehicle was successfully accelerated to a speed of 650 km/h in just 7 seconds at a newly-built 1,000-meter high-speed maglev test line in central China's Hubei. Featuring short-distance
