Just seen that “Mum” is back on iPlayer so I’ve started watching it AGAIN!! It never fails to move me. A pure masterclass in acting and writing. But I refuse to binge it - this time I’m going to savour each episode and marvel in the perfection of each one

Just had long discussion with Mum about the concept of elevenses. She has never heard of it before. How is that possible, especially with a daughter who can potentially turn any hour into a -ses ?!

Husband listening to some random discussion on the radio about love at first sight and he said 'I fancied you as soon as I saw you ... I still fancy you now' !!!

So good to see the excellent Wilfred Frost on Sky News this morning. Working with his father for several years on a Sunday morning was one of the things I loved the most while I was at BBC News. So Breakfast With Frost again today, is a delight!

Lovely evening yesterday at the Barbican’s John Williams concert. Despite bawling all the way through the Schindler’s List theme, much to son’s extreme embarrassment, I really do love watching musicians bring their instruments to life

We were guests at a different Church from normal yesterday evening for their Carol Service, and husband hadn’t stopped telling me since how many people commented on his “great voice”!!! 6.15am now and he’s singing at the top of his voice #PoorNeighbours

Yesterday I went to #NationalTheatre to see my gorgeous friend Asha Kingsley absolutely smash it in The House of Bernarda Alba. What an amazing production - fabulous set, brilliant music and lighting and the cast were sublime. I LOVED IT !
