Lovely update for those following #lostcub. We’ve had news the little one is doing really well - being groomed, playing & being allowed to feed. You wouldn’t know by looking at her that she’s an ‘outsider’. It's a first for us to see such total integration in the #lion world!

We haven’t been in the area recently but wanted to post a #lostcub update for all those asking. We’ve had news the little one is doing v.well: being groomed by Fekeetsa, playing & being allowed to feed. All credit to her determined little soul for refusing to give up!

The loss of the Notre Dame cathedral is great. But those who are better students of culture than I need to know that the grief they feel is mirrored in my grief of the loss of forests,coral reefs,& prairies & the species that live there, which no billionaire can retrieve.

Always wonderful to see more trees in this world - and also seeing the possibility of children falling in love with them.
