Jyothi is the co-founder of Cheli, she started the enterprise without any support from her family. She wanted to challenge the notion that ‘#women are fit for housework only.’ She believes #ItsTimeForAction truly resonates with her. The enterprise was established in October 2019 & has been doing well, with support from Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation GWMC and Urban Management Centre. Due to #COVID-19, though the work has slowed down but our #urbanenterpreneurs are set with their marketing initiatives.

Amidst the #COVID-19 pandemic Cheli Sanitary Pads along with Global Shapers Navi Mumbai and Urban Management Centre have made sanitary pads available to the urban poor women living in the slums of Govandi and Turbe in Mumbai. Cheli Sanitary Pads even agreed to pay 50% of the transport cost for these women's safety
