You've been nominated for an award ....... Here's the link to buy a table of tickets 🤦 I am around long enough to remember when industry awards were about awarding deserved businesses not selling event tickets.

Out in kenmare last night and it was like a Tuesday in January. Place was like a ghost town. It is another disaster of a year with tourism and all I’m hearing is that it’s the same throughout the entire country. Most businesses I know have only received HALF the ICOB grant

Please don’t blame the VAT increase as this has been up and down like a yo-yo for the last 20 years Taking so much tourist accommodation out of circulation for what Roderic O’Gorman TD has admitted to of over 60% illegal immigration is the main reason that these businesses are

Politicians are lobbied by ticket companies, it's why you'll often see them at big gigs/sports events. The biggest "legal" seller of tickets was able to act as a tout today, with total immunity from the law. It's not free market capitalism, it's touting, protected.

Ticket companies know what they are doing. The "buzz" of getting into the buy phase after 4 hrs is the same dopamine hit gamblers experience. At that stage, £150 to £400 price rise no longer is a choice, it's an impulse buy. An unethical/should be illegal business practice.

Suffice to say I'm gutted for Alan Barrins - the chef who, imho, was far too good for Sligo. A man of integrity & exceptional talent who didn't get the support he deserved in his home town Sligo's loss will be somewhere else's gain & I/we will miss him & his team terribly😔

Not only an amazing chef but a man of integrity and someone I hope will keep in contact with Mark & me wherever the next chapter brings him. I'm gutted for him and his team

I’ll keep saying it but VAT is not the issue. Yes a drop to 9% would be highly welcomed but it’s too late. The damage is done ◾️ Employers RSI is insane ◾️ Energy cost through the roof ◾️Cost of purchases increases are crippling ◾️ minimum wage increase leading to every

The industry couldn’t have made more noise about the crisis in our sector !@adriancummins .Decision is beyond tone deaf and once again favours the business with scale whilst ignoring the hard working people trying to make a difference to our precious hospitality landscape .
