TODAY: we moved forward to ensure fair & equal treatment of all. We reaffirmed our commitment to existing policies, and also to new policies that are being implemented, so officers have improved training & techniques for future interactions with the community.

If there’s one thing I am certain about in all the uncertainty is that teachers will give their all for their students this fall.

Teachers who have started teaching or are getting ready to start. God bless you! You are appreciated in ways you will probably never know.

I'm hearing from many parents of young children of the heroic work teachers and administrators are doing to make the start of this surreal school year feel special. I'm not surprised. Educators are heroes. And are often left to fix the messes of the rest of society.

Remote teaching is hard. Teaching in a school building with all of the precautions is hard. That's it. That's the tweet.

Just want to say that whether your child is attending school in person or virtually Either way school staff is working like crazy for your kid COVID will do what it will do, but your school is going hard as it can for its students

It’s not words that show teachers they’re appreciated. It’s respect, value, giving them a voice/ input, treating them professionally, & giving them the support they need to be successful. Help maximize their talents and strengths. Increasing their value is Appreciation.
