Whit Sunday tomorrow. Me at the top of Astley Street, Dukinfield, in the 1965 walks which were then on Whit Friday. Does anyone still get new clothes, or money for showing off their new clothes? Used to get half a crown off my Auntie Florrie. Big money 60 years ago.
