Thank you Choir Director Charles Flores and the Hays Hawk Choir for a beautiful performance at the Central Administration office this morning. The choir stopped while visiting the Wallace and Barton campuses, as well as Kyle City Hall, to spread some good cheer.

Completed my ticket and earned my Wood Badge beads this week! Grateful to have gone through this amazing Scouting America leadership program with the Alamo Area Council. Humbled to have my son replace my kerchief and woggle.

I had the privilege of serving as Clinician for the TMEA Region 29 MS Tenor-Bass Choir today in San Antonio. I enjoyed re-connecting with amazing colleagues and friends as we made music! So glad to pair up with Doug Boldt again as we worked with these young student musicians!

A crucial part of teaching AP Music Theory involves developing the ear. The Kodaly Method is a great resource for teaching maj/min pentachord, hexachord, and diatonic scale. An aural understanding of intervals lays a great foundation for learning theory concepts.
