Today, the United Nations 🇺🇳 General Assembly commemorates the International Day against Nuclear Tests. The Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty’s entry into force is long overdue and is a top priority. Until then, Denmark calls upon all States not to carry out any nuclear test. #IDANT

Australia and our Pacific neighbours know the terrible legacy of nuclear testing. As a long-time supporter of the CTBTO, upholding the global norm against nuclear testing continues to be a priority for Australia. We urge all states yet to do so to sign and ratify the CTBT.
