With news of collection of race-based data of COVID-19 patients, this analysis is eye-opening. Education has been on my heart in light of the #BlackLivesMatter protests, and I am committing myself to learn about the impact of race on the health of marginalized communities.

Just so we're all clear...Being anti-racist isn't about celebrating 'diversity'. It's about acknowledging the pervasive existence of systemic racism. It's about actively confronting & dismantling unequal power dynamics between groups & the very structures that sustain them.
