I find myself saying prayers of confession for not adhering strictly to government guidance with regards to COVID. Was that shop really essential? Should I have stopped to speak to someone on my daily walk? I feel as condemned as government and ask forgiveness from God.

Why are we not seeing the same amount of outrage for people rushing to the beach in droves, communities doing a VE Day conga and journalists flouting every social distancing measure? Double standards is not a one way street!

Feeling sorry for the children who are returning to school tomorrow. Just know they will be pestered by pushy journalists, hopefully social distanced, wanting negative soundbites!!!
