🎹🎶 Occupational therapist Ruth noticed that Mark, who recently had a lifesaving lung transplant, was feeling a bit flat. Mark loves to sing. Ruth loves the piano. And so this duet was formed earlier today. A supportive intervention, getting Mark back doing what he loves most💙

Having previously worked for student finance, I have to say the knowledge of knowing what support is available regarding studying with a disability has helped me so so much. knowing what support is out there and how to get it has been really important in my progress! #OTalk

Just finished a course of antibiotics for a kidney infection, now have another course for a throat infection/tonsillitis, is this the welcome I get for going into third year 🤣😭

This morning, I received a phone call to offer me my first Band 5 Occupational Therapist post!! I am over the moon & can’t wait to start my rotation! Now to get through the last stretch @TeesUniOT 👩🏻‍🎓Merry Christmas and here is to an exciting 2023 I have waiting for me 💚💚

Week 10/10 for practice placement starts Monday! So much to do but the end is near @TeesUniOT 👩🏻‍🎓 for placement I have been working on a service improvement; a booklet for patients leaving hospital & IT IS DONE 💚

Is there anything more anxiety inducing than being told you’re getting marks at a certain time… and then not having them?! Losing my marbles over here! 🙋🏻‍♀️

yesterday I got confirmation that I will be graduating with a 2:1 and today I got my confirmation that I am a fully qualified occupational therapist and my registration to practice is all approved! Can’t believe I MADE IT 💚 so proud of our @TeesUniOT cohort, role on graduation💃🏻

Just a little proud of me moment 🤍! Last year I graduated as an OT at @TeesUniOT as a 30 year old. Today I got my badge ready to start my band 6 post 🫣 it’s never too late, it’s only after you step out of your comfort zone that you begin to grow 🌼
