Our second Franklinton Church Plant Interest Meeting is next Thursday! We'll enjoy a meal together and discuss how the Lord is leading us in the days ahead. I hope to see you there! faithnc.org/new-events/202…

Imagine a world where theological tribes in the Church prioritized humble and open dialogue over recording podcasts full of straw man arguments...

I'll never understand pastors who think that church growth is bad (i.e. "once a church gets over ___ it's too big"). Of course, some growth is unhealthy. And bigger isn't necessarily better. But why root against more people coming?

We had a cool God-moment at Faith Franklinton this morning. We studied Psalm 127 while also commissioning four sets of parents to disciple their children and almost a dozen college students to go missionally over the summer. God is on the move!!

In my role as a pastor, I’m not trying to get everyone to agree on everything so much as I’m attempting to create environments where our disagreements don’t automatically become cause for disunity.

Phew! Encouragement and discouragement in pastoral ministry come at a RAPID pace, sometimes within minutes or hours of each other. This is a steep learning curve!

One of our Lay Pastors regularly says, “Jesus, be big” to proclaim Christ’s power and asking for him to move in power. As we pray for this Christmas Eve…”Jesus, be big”.

Excited to preach Acts 1:1-14 tomorrow at our church’s first ever “Vision Sunday”. We have much to be thankful for in 2025 and much to look forward to in 2026!
