Izzy update: the humans are with Izzy at the emergency vet. He has not eaten or had anything to drink for a few days, so he’s getting stronger pain meds, anti- inflammatory meds, appetite stimulants, and fluids. Poor Izzy.

Morning Izzy update: amazing what drugs and subcutaneous fluids will do! Yay for eating! Also, he is getting a new cone of shame that’s smaller than the one from the vet he escaped from. He’s so doped up right now he doesn’t need it. 😸😻#kittywoes #thankyou #appreciation

Izzy update: to the vet again today. He apparently reacted to the sutures in his mouth and his mouth is very swollen. He’s now on steroids, painkillers, appetite stimulant, and had more subcutaneous fluids. 😿#poorcat #wellgetthroughthis #sadcat

Izzy update: steroids seem to be working. Humans bought the cheapest, stinkiest cans of cat food they could find to get Izzy to eat. He normally only likes kibble, but he ate up the stinky wet food. Yay! Thanks for all the good wishes!
