Had a brief and cordial meeting with the officials and members of Nagaland Gorkha Association to discuss matters concerning the welfare of the Gorkha community in the state, today at civil secretariat.

Along with the dept of H&FW, I undertook a tour across Zunheboto District as part of Viksit Nagaland, Viksit Bharat, the vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Narendra Modiji. CHC Satakha will be turned to Model CHC upon full completion of the building. BJP Nagaland

Inspected the on-going new District Hospital Zunheboto, hope to see the new building scheduled to be completed by December 2025.

Undertook a quick visit at CHC Chozuba, Phek District and was impressed the way the centre is maintained and managed.

Reviewed the healthcare facilities, development projects, interacted with the staff and tribal leaders to assess healthcare delivery on the ground. Announced series of projects for Zbto district keeping in mind to achieve Viksit Nagaland for Viksit Bharat vision by 2047.

Culminated the tour by visiting Phek DH, CHC Pfutsero, Integrated Ayush Hospital Razha. The state-wide tour was an eye-opening experience for the dept, shedding light on ground realities. We must continue to advance the initiatives, undeterred by the challenges that lie ahead.

Visited CHC Pfutsero and amazed to see the patient load on daily basis despite many challenges. The centre will be strengthened with manpower and infrastructure support.
