GOP Rep. Tim Burchett said that former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy elbowed him in the kidneys in the Capitol.

'It was pretty stunning,' says NPR's Claudia Grisales, who witnessed the altercation. 'I felt like I could see an elbow retracting back from McCarthy after.'

Great Manu Raju follow up here, Burchett describes as 'clean shot to the kidneys' but says no plans to pursue an ethics complaint. He notes it happened from behind, and admits it hurt, 'if you've ever been hit in the kidneys ...you don't have to hit very hard to cause... pain.'
