Not a fan of the new “Liquid Glass” look in macOS. Those refractions just make everything harder to read. It’s like they cranked the vibes and forgot about usability.

Not to be outdone by Apple, here is a much less polarizing version of Liquid Glass. New Glass and Liquid materials in Studio (also some glassware models)

Some folks asking why sometimes glass renders black. 99% of the time your object isn’t to scale. Transmission depth sets how far light travels before it gets absorbed. If it’s too big or thick, light doesn’t make it through (looks black). ✌️🥛 (cue the more you know jingle)

Speaking of… Been messing around with a new set of Doodad models. Still early, but I’m into where it’s heading 🤫

Glass Quick Tip: Transmission Depth controls how far light travels through transparent materials. Higher values mean lighter, more translucent. Lower values mean darker, denser. Just keep in mind this setting depends on your scene units. Working at real-world scale makes a big

I’m thinking about starting a blog type thing. Opinions, 3D, design, productivity, and the likes. Am I crazy? Do people read that stuff anymore? 🤔

OK, if you know me, you know I talk about Raycast constantly. So if you're on Windows, now's your chance to get a glimpse into my obsession. Keep in mind the Windows version is still behind macOS, but it's still awesome.
