So it begins! The 2020 convention cycles engineering projects enter full swing!

We've heard news this morning that former staff and close friend of the convention and to many of us Citizen Zeeba has passed away. You will be missed greatly. We will always remember you.

Hello! We're aware that someone has filed a number of DCMA takedown requests with Flickr for confuzzled-related photos. Please rest assured that this is NOT us - someone impersonating us sent the requests. We've contacted Flickr support to try to resolve the situation.

First new thing built for CFz since 2020! What will it be though? What will it do?

We are aware that the government has now announced they will be withdrawing the Domestic Covid Pass on 12th May. We are reviewing this, and will be making an announcement about this as soon as possible. Please bear with us - we will get back to you with an update soon.

Two weeks from today the Confuzzled Engineering team will rock up at the Hilton Metropole and hope everything still works.. sorry, we mean build the fursuit lounges! Have you missed the sound of the triple furblade winding up? We have!

Last year (con, we don’t talk about 20/21) too much fluff jammed and burned out the circulating pump on the deep freeze frier. We have constructed a rudimentary lathe with which we have constructed a rudimentary filter to avoid a repeat!

The engineering department would like to make the following statement: It’s not excessive, it’s ENOUGH!

Here is some of the “more than a mile of cable” that goes into the dealers den, this was built by CFz engineering and is installed and removed each convention!

And lastly, to the gods in the staff that run the fursuit lounges. They were un-fucking-believable! It seriously changed how much I was able to enjoy the con. You put every US con to shame and I'm borderline angry about it. 💙

And so it begins!

The engineering team make instructional videos and take photos of equipment in the fursuit lounges at Confuzzled when the lounges are being built or are otherwise closed. Please note that when the lounges are open it is strictly forbidden to take any form of pictures or videos!
