We're thrilled to report that our Board approved $90,850 in small grants at yesterday's meeting. One of the grants is to the Friends of the Broome County Public Library to support their bi-lingual story time programs.

We had a personal "site visit" last night to Ross Park Zoo to see their spectacular Illumination for Conservation lantern show. Wow! Do not miss this. It's open evenings at 8pm through October.

Congratulations to the American Civic Association as the recipient of our 25th anniversary award of $25,000 towards the important work they do with immigrants and refugees.

This past week, the Board of the Community Foundation approved $232,250 in grants to the region's nonprofits, school districts, and municipalities. A grant award of $20,000 was made to Mothers&BabiesPN for their new PAL Center in Johnson City!
