Good old NC State Fair!

Was great! I think we lost 3 games in 4 years. Got to travel some with the Yankees in the 70’s and pitch BP.

NC State baseball only has one retired jersey number (coach Sam Esposito) but the school has decided to honor Chris Combs (No. 26) for his outstanding career and his relentless pursuit of a cure for ALS. Chris and his family have raised more than $4 million for Project ALS

Legendary. Our leader Elliott Avent was honored at tonight’s NC State Football/Mississippi State Football game for his efforts with USA Baseball CNT along with members from Mississippi State Baseball.

Saturday will be a special game for the #Pack9 and Boston College Baseball, as both programs in recent years have lost a special member to ALS - Chris Combs and Pete Frates. The teams will play to raise awareness and #StrikeOutALS.
