Your actions vouch for your #leadership skills, but are they loud enough? If your goal is to get promoted, you must learn to share your #achievements and vocalize your #success to your #leadership. Learn to #speakup and #advocateforyourself.

Those w/#executivepresence fill a room & command attention, take control of difficult situations, & make tough, unpopular decisions. A survey by @Coqual_ overwhelmingly shows having executive presence is 1 of the top reasons why people get promoted & stay ahead of their peers.

Can #leaders be #conflictaverse? Become comfortable feeling uncomfortable. It’s uncomfortable sitting in the🔥when people are asking hard questions & when you don’t know the best answer. Find your conviction in what you know & be willing to take heat of an unpopular decision.

#Companyvalues represent a #cultural and #ethicalcode that everyone in your organization chooses to follow. #Successfulleaders amplify these values through example, mentoring, and even #conflictresolution to ultimately dictate the company's direction and #success.

Take time to plan before your high-stakes meetings. Think about how you want to #communicate and what is the outcome you desire. Understanding how you want people to think and feel about you after the meeting will help you understand how to #makeanimpact. #executivepresence

Even though we’ve become more casual as a #workculture, you are still a steward of the organization. #ExecutivePresence is key to everyone’s #leadership, so it's important you learn to maintain a certain level of #formality as a #leader, both in your attire and #communication.

How do you prepare for your high-stakes meetings? Every time you’re going into a meeting - make the time to plan. Before you walk into a meeting or join on video, take the time to think through what you want to convey & build your #executivepresence thru anticipated planning.

Being #assertive doesn’t mean being a jerk, but rather flexing diplomacy and creating a win-win. A #leader with #executivepresence is not afraid to stand by their beliefs. #Assertiveleaders are open to other points of view but will defend their position when it is strongly felt.

#Control comes at the cost of undermining your employee. As you #delegate certain tasks to your #employees, notice if you're pulling back the reins and taking back the project. When you take back control, you’re damaging the employee relationship with this lack of trust.
