A quick snapshot of my poster at NetSci 2024. If you missed it yesterday you can still check it out during today’s coffee break 😉(panel 079).
I am thrilled to share that ‘Learning Multi-Frequency Partial Correlation Graphs’ has just been published through IEEE Xplore in IEEE TSP. Thanks to my super co-authors Paolo Di Lorenzo, Francesco Bonchi, Stefania Sardellitti, and Sergio Barbarossa. bit.ly/4eNL4Qe
Our review "Contagion dynamics on higher-order networks" is out in Nature Reviews Physics (rdcu.be/dMQiv). We review the literature on the topic and take the opportunity to propose a unified formalism covering most of the functional forms used for the spreading dynamics (1/2).
"Higher-order null models as a lens for social systems" accepted for publication in PRX! We unveil new insights into the dynamics of social systems using innovative models for higher-order group interactions. w/ Giovanni Petri (Network Science Institute) Adriano Fazzone Gianmarco De Francisci Morales @gdfm.bsky.social (CENTAI (Center for AI))
You can read the preprint of our work “Link Polarity Prediction from Sparse and Noisy Labels via Multiscale Social Balance” (accepted at #CIKM2024) at arxiv.org/abs/2407.15643 Drop your feedback in the thread or send us a DM! Federico Cinus Francesco Bonchi Giuseppe Manco

Excited to kick-off #KDD2024 (kdd2024.kdd.org) on Sunday and super proud to be General Chair (together with Ricardo Baeza-Yates) of such an event. More than 2200 attendees from all over the globe, 82 organizers, 133 student volunteers, and an incredible list of generous sponsors
1/ Today we started ACM KDD in Barcelona, the top research conference on data mining and AI, that I am co-chairing with Francesco Bonchi. We have three keynotes by Tanya Berger-Wolf, Sanjeev Arora and Xihong Lin, and one panel on Generative AI that I will moderate.
