The Gritty Nurse-Speakers| Authors| Thoughtleaders We were suspicious about this math, too, so we checked College of Nurses of Ontario data.

Turns out that of the 60,000 nurses hired since 2018, 35,000 have left the profession. That’s 6 of every 10 leaving!

My rent is going up $432 this year. Unlike a property tax increase alone, which generates funds to benefit everyone in this City, my rent/rent increase benefits my landlord but also subsidizes the property taxes on his building. The taxes are paid off by me, and he still profits.
