The contract to maintain elevators on behalf of the #TTC is held by Selco Elevators, who have had this contract since at least 2018. This year, the TTC Board approved nearly $19 million to Selco to ensure adequate elevator maintenance. Here is the result:

Today is the Toronto Homeless Memorial. I'm so sad that we are adding Joe Kelly (Deezy). Joe was a former resident of the Scadding Court #encampment , a west-end fixture at Queen and Bathurst since his youth, and an overall lovely human being. You will be missed, friend. ❤️

This is an important statement from six sitting Councillors. Freedom of peaceful assembly and of expression are Charter-protected rights as well as fundamental tenets of a democracy. They help to ensure equity and pluralistic representation across people, issues, and ideologies.
