A Dorchester giant, an icon, and an absolute sweetheart. Barbara’s passing is a loss for our community and we offer our condolences to the McDonough family, the Popes Hill Neighborhood Assoc where she served as a senior advisor for decades, well as her Dorchester Reporter colleagues.

Tonight our membership also voted on whether or not to support a recreational adult use cannabis dispensary at 770 Gallivan Boulevard. The vote was conducted by secret ballot and the results were 61% in favor of the concept, 39% opposed. #bospoli
