This week we learned about abstract art in art camp! We started by getting to take a look at Miss Carmen's art and feeling the textures of the paint in her work. Then we worked on creating the first layer of our own abstract paintings! #msdsummerstyle

The second layer of our abstract paintings was a fun material- dish soap! We used this as a paint resist and I sprayed on top of the kids soap with black spray paint. Then they got to help wash the soap away and reveal their paintings! #msdsummerstyle

Scribble Friday with Mr. Sola's 4th grade class was a hit!

Students were super excited to try pulling their prints in many different colors today. Zey said his prints were bussin!
