HIP HOP IN THE HEARTLAND THREAD: #HHH2021 will be virtual this year and broken up into 3 sessions. Our January 30th session will be around Abolitionist education, Black Joy in K-12 Classrooms, and providing educators tools for teaching under the current political climate.

If you see the importance in youth poets like Amanda Gorman, if you see the relevance in honing these voices for generations to hear TRUTH, encourage your young people to write, encourage your young people to apply to First Wave.
