5th Consultative Workshop of East zone was held on Modernisation of Syllabi of Police Training in Kolkata. Five States/UT - West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand, Sikkim and Andaman & Nicobar Island attended the workshop.

Today a batch of Trainee Officers of Indian Information Service, comprising of 15 Officers visited the Bureau Headquarter. A session on "New Criminal Laws: A new era in Indian Criminal Justice System" was taken by Director Training which was followed by interaction with DG BPR&D.

Today BPR&D organised a National level Webinar elucidating the innovations ,road safety & smarter traffic management, which was Inaugurated by DG,BPR&D at BPRD Hqrs. More than 200 officials from Law Enforcement Agencies benefited from this webinar.
