Welcome home DIAMOND after an epic 9 month operational deployment. Incredible achievements from a Ship’s Company at the top of their game taking their Type 45 from the high north to the Middle East and delivering all that was asked of them.

So Midshipman Pitcher was on this trip up to Murmansk and Archangelsk to commemorate 50 years from the first Russian Convoy. We had onboard some amazing veterans from the Russian Convoy Club with their white berets. Locals were delighted to see us, and gave us a fulsome welcome.
