Indian & If you're: 1) Avg. Student (not in top few %) 2) Typical middle class type (u know exactly) 3) Have "some" financial means 4) See little future / make enough to just be no. 2 above You should seriously consider higher education / move to Canada or US

Learn, Watch and Follow 1 or 2 Professional Sport / League (MLB / NHL / NBA / NFL) This is a grossly Underrated Tip For Student / Professionals Who Want to Take it to the Next level in North America. Trust me, this will pay massive dividends

While personally no longer subject to the immigration crap, it's looks to be "a tragedy of TWO countries": USA: Mecca for jobs / economic activity, but you suffer thru immigration Canada: Rolls out red carpet for immigrants, but you suffer thru job market What your choice ??

Hands down, a 10 week Relevant Internship will more than compensate for your past (i.e. low GPA/GRE/GMAT limited or too much experience)

Do not Over-analyze your college selection decision You have no idea how random the outcomes are after graduation or even years after that Life has a way, make a decision and focus on variables that you can control

I've worked with top American C-suite clients, here is my take as non-native English speaker: Learning vocabulary is over-rated (outside to clear exams etc.) Instead, pick up on American language slangs / jargons, if you want to fit in better into your college &/or work life

Being a mentor or a counselor at Grad School is a misnomer...its just a job for that person, they are not invested in you. Go out, make connections, find areas of mutual value add or interest, and you might truly find one

"Tell me about yourself" question in ur Interview. Too much useless info out there Instead do this: - Keep it <2 mins. Nobody has time/patience - 2-3 RELEVANT things about yourself (related to the role) - Conclude why you are there (ASK FOR THE JOB)! >90% folks do not do this!

If West did not have declining fertility rates, i just doubt how me or my peeps from back home would be able to create a livelihood here...🤔

When the Time discussing/planning your vacation >> Work/Career/Life/Finances, that's when you feel like now you've truly arrived in America!

Thinking of moving from US -> Canada Regret Minimization criteria: - Not in the top % on your career trajectory. You know this..be honest - Deep down, u're very risk averse - Make <$150K (irrespective of experience). It will hurt a lot more if u r in $300K+ range

The bottom 90% should never seek advice from the top 1%. Applies to anything (sports, studies, profession, health, wealth...etc) Never Works. If anything, it hurts, the 1% is just a different breed Be ambitious, but respect the Law of Nature

Do not listen to all the noise If you're truly in the 1% of what you do, America is still the choice for you. Yes, the place has a host of issues, and i have personally faced some What you gotta realize is that paradise does not exist

Fellow Indians from the typical working class, that are not in the top 5%, i hate to say this, you are screwed...big time. And mostly for no faults of yours.. Find a way to get out to a G7 or a similar country - you will most likely not regret it (in long term)

What is still not being appreciated is how much foreign wealth has flown into the Canadian RE market You colleague (the new Canadian) may just be making $80K, but they brought >$500K in cash to buy that $1MM townhome, and live the "Canadian dream"
