Too many of us who are white wonder why there are protests. We wonder why there is so much anger. This is one of a myriad of statistics that help illuminate the injustice that is so readily apparent to people of color, but is ignored by those of us with privilege.

Adm. Mike Mullen, the former chairman of the joint chiefs of staff, says he was "sickened" to see forces violently clear a path for Pres. Trump's photo op. "I cannot remain silent," he writes. theatlantic.com/ideas/archive/… Admiral Mullen's words carry weight throughout the military.

I recorded a few videos when thinking of how to respond to Drew Brees, I don’t take any of it back-I meant what I said-I removed the 1st video because I knew it be more about the headlines. I want people to understand how those of us struggling with what’s going on feel

If you still haven’t figured out why the protesting is going on. Why we’re acting as we are is because we are simply F-N tired of this treatment right here! Can we break it down for you any simpler than this right here???? 🤦🏾‍♂️. And to my people don’t worry I won’t stop until I see

Appreciate these words from Rachel E. Cargle. I need to be constantly reminded that my sense of purity of motives means very little - the truth is the impact of white supremacy is ferocious & I regularly contribute to that w/my complicity and complacency... even with ‘pure motives.’

I will vote against hatred. I will vote against fear. I will vote against misogyny. I will vote against homophobia. I will vote against xenophobia. I will vote against racism. I will vote against Trump. And I will do it in the name of Jesus, my Savior.

Extremely relevant info from Jocelyn Benson earlier this week: audits can’t be conducted until after elections are certified. x.com/jocelynbenson/…

“But there have been other violent protests the past yr.” Yes, but Wed was unlike anything in my lifetime. Why? 1. Place: US Capitol. 2. Instigator: US President. 3. Symbols: Crosses, Nooses, Confederate Flags, “Jesus Saves” signs. 4. Aim: overturn election. God help us.

Don’t let up. We’re not fighting for a world where cops go to jail for killing people... we’re fighting for a world where cops don’t kill people.

I’m so sickened by the massacre happening in Gaza. No one can defend the atrocities of Hamas on Oct. 7. But no one can defend the violent retribution of the State of Israel. With the support of the US, and bombs made in the USA, and funds from the US, the State of Israel is
