What an amazing start to the new term! We have welcomed year 7 and watched our Year 8 and 9 learners have an absolute blast in their Drama lessons today exploring the 6 C's of drama: creativity, confidence, communication, collaboration, cooperation and consideration. 💫⭐️🎭

We have had the best evening at the Wales Millennium Centre watching Mischief in Peter Pan Goes Wrong! Pure comedy gold and an incredible learning experience for our budding performers. We even managed to get a photo with the main man himself! On until 27th January, book now! 🎭✨

We are incredibly grateful to have been invited to University of Wales Trinity Saint David visiting day to explore their courses within the performing arts industry. Year 10 had a great day exploring and trying new things including hip hop dance, choral and ensemble singing and an acting workshop! 🎭🎶🎤🕺🌟

Great news at CCYD! Grace is representing the Fire Service in Wales as a Cadet in regional and national competitions for presenting kit /drills. She is completing a BTEC qualification with the Fire Service after school hours and attends training three times a week.
