Big day today as we say goodbye to Aryna, one of two young Ukrainian women living with us since April who is moving to London. She says her favourite thing over the last few months has been family meals & prayers. Even in a horrible war, God is at work! Please pray for her 🙏🇺🇦

In Isle of Wight for the week. One of the joys of going on hols is worshipping as one with sisters and brothers you’ve never met before in your life. From Ventnor to Vietnam, not that I’ve ever been to Vietnam, just saying!

Just caught up with 30 Oct edition of BBC Songs of Praise on BBC iplayer - covering the faith journey of Sean Fletcher who came to #HighLeigh over the summer. It’s a full on gospel edition - really encouraging and highly recommended 👍

Reminded of God’s enduring promise at #HighLeigh this morning…“‘As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night will never cease.’” Genesis 8:22 NIV

Had a great evening with Open Doors UK at our church recently. The guy fronting the evening said how often do we sign off emails and messages with “take care” (which I often do). He challenged us as Christians not to take care but to take risks!

Christ is risen! He is risen indeed. Happy Easter.

Grateful for opportunity to attend an Easter reception at No.10 today. Turned out to be quite a reunion of @CCT_Conferences guests 😌 Children from St John’s CoE primary, Canterbury stole the show with a delightful presentation of the Easter story inc “He is mighty to save” 🎶

Just had my first taste of honey from our new beehives at #HighLeigh - straight out the honeycomb 😊 It is simply beyond rational belief that the industry of the bees, the sweetness & purity of the honey, the intricacy of the honeycomb symmetry could all come about by chance.
