My favorite day of library for 5th grade is showing them the very first book they ever checked out! They love to find their book on the shelf to reread it one last time. So bittersweet! I’ll miss these smiling faces so much! 🥺❤️ #ccs118life

To celebrate our One School One Book program, we are voting on our favorite student-created Humphrey bookmarks. It’s so hard to choose…they are all ⭐️AMAZING!⭐️ #ccs118life

❄️ STEAM Club’s Sphero Sleigh challenge “slayyyed!” We discussed friction and weight of the sleigh prior to beginning our challenge. We used colorful dominos as the “presents.” The winning sleigh was able to hold 12 presents after a lot of testing and improving! #ccd118life

STEAM Clubbed rocked TWO challenges this week! 1. 🤖 Use Coding to have your Sphero visit 3 specified locations that are at least 40” apart. 2. 🎅🏼 Create the TALLEST chimney for Santa to successfully go up and down without knocking the blocks. 61” was the record! #ccs118life

💥⚡️How it started vs how it ended! 🤯 This STEM activity is THE BEST activity for iteration. The kiddos really had to work through the “improvement” step to create a windmill that spins. I loved watching their thought process! #ccs118life

🚗 Mint Mobile STEM! Can you use the given materials to create a car that travels down a ramp? Extra points for longest distance traveled with most “passengers” (pennies) inside! Thank you, Teach Engineering for a super fun day! #ccs118life
