Eileen Collins joined the AFROTC. A decade with the Air Force, she was accepted to NASA. 1st female pilot of the Space Shuttle Discovery(93) piloting another mission(97), was selected to be the commander of STS-93, the first time a woman would ever lead a mission into space.

Mae Jemisona is a doctor, engineer, & NASA astronaut. In 1992, she became the first African American woman to travel in space. She has written several books & appeared on many tv programs. Inducted into the National Women's Hall of Fame & the International Space Hall of Fame.

Cady Coleman went to MIT and UMass Amherst. She served in Air Force, joined NASA astronaut corps in 1992. Flew her 1st mission into space in 1995 STS-73. On just her 2nd flight, was selected mission specialist on STS-93 in 1999 that deployed Chandra using its robotic arm. #STEM
