CCHA 12U A followed up their District 6 title with an undefeated performance in the Minnesota Hockey West Region Tournament last weekend in St. Cloud, defeating Minneapolis 5-1, Wayzata 4-0 and Edina 3-2 in OT. Up next: STATE TOURNAMENT!

CCHA PeeWee C Purple captured 2nd place at the District 6 Playoffs with a 4-2 record. Seeded #6, CC defeated Prior Lake 4-3, #3 Edina White 5-4 OT, #2 Waconia 3-1 and #5 Minnetonka Black 3-2. The Stormhawks' lone losses came to #1 Minnetonka White.

CCHA Squirt A captured the District 6 Tournament title with a 3-1 record. After an opening 3-1 loss to Minnetonka, the Stormhawks defeated Shakopee 4-1 & Edina Green 6-1 in pool play. In the title game, CC downed Shakopee 3-1 to claim the championship for the 2nd straight year.

CCHA Squirt C Gold took first in the Silver Division of the District 6 Tournament with a 2-0-1 record. The Stormhawks tied Prior Lake Gold 3-3 and defeated Jefferson White in pool play before blanking CCHA Purple 2-0 in the championship game.

Congrats to CCHA 12U A for capturing 3rd place at the Minnesota Hockey State Tournament. The Stormhawks opened with a 7-0 win of Anoka/Rogers before falling 2-0 to eventual champ Minnetonka in the semis. CC rebounded in the 3rd-place game with a 2-1 win over Grand Rapids/Greenway.
