Four CCMS students are headed to the Young Authors Conference at Grand Bear Lodge in Utica, IL on April 26. The students stories were the top choices for grades 6-8 in the essay contest. Congratulations to each of our winners.

The CCMS Scholastic Bowl Warriors are the IESA Regional Champions. The Warriors defeated Saratoga, Minooka and Morris to earn the regional title. The Warriors move onto the Hickory Creek Sectional on May 1.

The Unit 1 School District has announced all middle and high school athletic events are canceled for this afternoon. Students will be notified by coaches regarding afternoon practices.
