To all those saying that athletes aren’t loyal or selfish for entering the transfer portal, understand that leaving is not always an easy decision. I am grateful for the transfer portal, otherwise I don’t know where I’d be. (1/2).

The transfer portal allows these athletes to get in a better situation FOR THEM. Whether it be for their mental health, playing time, a bad situation that people have no clue about.The portal is not a bad thing. It can be the best thing for these athletes.
