“You know I did, seeing as you walked in on it and finished the job and that was the start of ‘just sex’. Now I’m having a formal mating ceremony so… that worked for me, clearly.” She gave a laugh as she scrubbed at his scalp still and pressed a kiss to his back.

“General, I can’t think of a time you’ve ever behaved, and I like it that way.” Despite her teasing she did swap places with him as he asked. His sweet affection was wonderful and she relaxed in his arms immediately.

She groaned as his fingers ran through her hair, just because it felt so wonderful. She kept it bound and braided so much that having it down and his fingers in it was heavenly. “I enjoy you misbehaving almost as much as you enjoy me being a brat, of course.”

“Mm, tease…” she grumbled a bit but she didn’t mind really. She liked his touch most of all. She’d just promised to be good in their bath and here she was tempted to beg him for more. “I would like whatever you do, Cas. You know that.”

She loved that feeling, sinking into the heat of the bath and the touch of his hands. It did indeed feel amazing as his hands unknotted tight muscles from a long day of training. “It does… Mm. Thank you, my mate.”

“You’re spoiling me tonight. And I thought I was the one going to be doing the spoiling.” She grinned a little as she leaned back to look at him. He was the most wonderful thing in the world to her.

“Oh you know very well those things would just get me excited and I’d drag you to bed after this bath. Though it’s been a long while since I got to watch you like that.” She smiled and leaned her head back to rest against his chest.

“You’re about right. Some days I don’t want to let you out of bed.” Her grin was a bit wicked but she meant every word. He was her favorite person and her sole addiction now.

“Hey.” She shot him a look, since comments like that still stung a little. She hadn’t been alright when she’d been drinking like that, and they’d all hated her. Luckily he distracted her with his playfulness and she bit her lip. “Tease.”
